Win32.Induc.A / Delphi.Induc

Recently I tried to run a program that I have used many times before and found that MSE reported that it was infected with a virus called Win32.Induc.A / Delphi.Induc. Further Investigation revealed that this is a virus that only harms computers with the Delphi Development Environment (of one version or another) installed on their computer and that lots of legitimate programs have been distributed with this virus accidentally.

I also found a program that claims to remove the infection from a program and still allow you to continue using it.  I tested several tools with this same claim and most of the destroyed the target application so that it would no longer start.  However, I found 1 program from gsa-online.de that actually seemed to so what it claimed.

I can't say for certain that the virus is gone, but MSE now reports the program in question to be clean, and it still starts and runs normally.  Your mileage may vary but if you have a program that is infected I think you should give this removal tool a try.

You can download it directly from them here, or from the file attached to this post.
